Jack and Anna

This is very nice work.  Huge Anna fan (amoung my top favorites) and I have nothing against the "Jelsa" ship (mostly neutral about it and all ships involving Elsa right now as I prefer Elsa and Anna focus on the sisterhood itself and that fact Elsa doesn't need a love interest for any character development or to be 'completed' per se (like some moves don't need one but get thrown in sometimes).
My only con about that Jelsa ship is most Jelsa shippers will write or consider Anna a enemy for them or push her aside and create tales I can't enjoy because of this.  Often written Anna as a blocker vs being a shipper herself (which for me would make it more enjoyable).  Again Anna is my favorite character.
Oddly enough more IN character for Anna is for her to be a matchmaker for Elsa as shown in the book "The Secret Admirer".  In that book Elsa is getting gifts from an unknown person and while Elsa is content not to follow up on who it could be Anna is giddy and immediately turns into a matchmaker and self believing love expert and detective for Elsa sake.  Anna showing to be a Nancy Drew-type detective, with Olaf as her sidekick looking into who might be sending the gifts at the end Anna and Elsa discover the gifts was coming from a kindergarten boy who doesn't 'love' but does respect/admire Elsa and her ice sculptures.





Sometime ago I had different thoughts about Anna and Jack (not per se love interest but tight friendship family love style) and how things could be after reading some Jelsa tales.  Like 'what if' Anna after sacrificing herself for Elsa was selected by the moon to be a spirit much like how Jack self sacrifice himself for his sister and became one.  When Anna defrosted she wasn't quite the same anymore.
Jack is ordered to investigate on behalf of the Guardians a new spirit born and hinted by the moon.  Sent to 'Arendelle' just after a great mysterious storm was happening that Jack didn't start and even more shocking for him was it block all spirits from entering including Jack himself as the winds struck back against him and the frost didn't follow his commands.

Meanwhile Arendelle has been experiencing warmer weather but also Arendelle was always a happy and lively kingdom with wonderful people but currently everybody seems to be more 'warm hearted' around Arendelle.  Even the one's who was known to be cold in spirit was more brimming with warm hearts.  Flowers and most of all crocus and sunflowers blooming around the castle and many locations Anna and Elsa traveled to they sprang up and spread like wildfire.  The local nature and weather guides didn't know why the flowers and weather was above average or nature blooming at such a high rate and with some new flowers as well but after some discussions everybody figured that nature was trying to forge a balance and regain what was lost during the summer freeze.

Investigating the location he hears of the 'Snow Queen' first then quickly discovers the Snow Queen is the reigning Queen Elsa.  Fascinated with finding potentially somebody with great snow powers much like himself he believes she is this new spirit he is meant to find at first.  Heading to her and trying to introduce himself to her Elsa just walked right through him.  Jack discovered that despite having powers that ensured to him that she had to be the spirit he was meant to find she could not see or hear him.  Keeping close to her Elsa went to have a private meeting with a man named Kristoff hoping to know more about him while covering some parts of her past Kristoff might need to know.

Following Elsa to a private chamber where inside a man and oddly enough also a reindeer was waiting for her.   The reindeer immediately saw or at least felt Jack and to Kristoff his buddy Sven began to act friendly to what Elsa and Kristoff assumed was thin air.  Sven was ask to find Olaf and keep him company but also Kristoff wanted to make as many good impressions that he could and Sven wasn't acting right.  Kristoff figured he would have a talk with Sven later to see what was bothering him later.

Jack discovers as Elsa talked to the man named Kristoff that she had her powers since she was a baby and used her powers to play with her sister Anna.  As she talked about the dreadful night that affected her and Anna childhood and shaped their years apart Jack couldn't help but be confused.
Jack (thinking) : 'Elsa has great magical snow/winter powers that might even rival or overpower mine.  But Spirits don't age?  But she had a childhood and she grew up to the lady she is now?  This is very strange for a spirit as all spirits can see each other but she didn't' know I was right next to her or hear me speak to her just now.'

Walking away from Elsa and the man named Kristoff to think things over Jack reviewed what he found over in his head again and again.  Heading to an empty looking room to process everything alone Jack didn't know what to do next.  However as soon as he went past the doorway he was immediately tackled to the ground.  Looking up he saw a angry looking strawberry blond girl over him.

Speaking softly as to not alarm Elsa, Kristoff, or Sven who was a room away Anna was worried and furious as to who this boy could be and how come he wasn't seen by either Elsa or Kristoff despite how close he was to them both.
Anna: "Who are you?  Are you an assassin?  Well you are not going to hurt Elsa or anybody I care about!  As Princess Anna I order you to speak up now!  If you are innocent then.. I'm really really sorry.  But who are you and what is your business and how was it that you could be near my sister Queen Elsa and my boyfriend Kristoff and they didn't even acknowledge your existence?"

Jack was sweating a bit.  Which he never recalled doing so before in his spirit life.  The more upset this girl over him got the more he felt different and worried as well.  He felt warm but not in a good way as he was getting interrogated.
Jack: "What?  I'm not an assassin?  I'm here on behalf of the moon."

Anna was expecting to hear many things.  Sent by the moon was not one of them.
This surprising claim made her lower her defenses a bit long enough for Jack to get free pushing her off and flying up over her reach.  Seeing him flying made Anna from worried to amazed in a second.
Anna: "Whoa!?  You can fly?  Who are you?"

Jack was amazing this hyperactive girl could see and touch him.  She was the only one thus far in the kingdom.
Jack: "My name is Jack Frost.  I was tasked by the Moon and the Guardians Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, and Sandy to investigate Arendelle after some strange ongoings and other business."

Anna blinked a few times and became wide eyed and exuberant.
Anna: "Jack Frost?  Like from the stories?"
Jack: "Yes I..."
Anna however soon found herself growing uncontrollably in her excitement and wonder gaining large amount of energy.  Cutting him off Anna spoke and her words flew.
Anna: "Wow THE Jack Frost!  You have frost powers much like my sister as well right?  Just wow!"
"What a magical and exciting summer this has been!  I mean first my sister accidentally reveals to have snow magic (my fault for that), almost dying becoming an ice statue when my heart got hit with the ice magic, and far worse my sister almost dying because of my foolishness that allowed the monster Hans to almost cut her down (shutters).  I'm so happy he failed and I was able to save her.  Now after so long my sister and I finally together again!"
"Now THE Jack Frost!  Actual spirits and these "guardians" you speak of that comes mostly from the great holiday and other children tales existing?  Wow!  This has been one heck of a magical, thrilling, and informative week!  To think just before I met you I thought you were just a myth.  I can't wait to have you introduced to Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf will be thrilled, plus..."

Jack found Anna's warm energy and extroverted feisty and lively attitude endearing.  The longer he was by this girl's side as she emitted a positive energy and excitement his heart swelled with good warmth and vigor.  But Anna's words now rang over in his head snapping him to reality.
Jack: "Hold on there Anna.  They might not be able to see me.  You see that... hold it... just wait a second."
Jack was confused again but the wheels in his head was now turning right.
Jack: "You can see me... but you believed that I was just a myth.  As in didn't exist when I met you?  But only humans who believe in me or know I exist can see, touch, and hear me?  That's been the rule since the beginning."

Anna didn't understand what Jack was talking about.
Anna: "Well I can see you very well.  For the other's if they have to know you are there then I'll just tell them.  I'm sure Elsa can see you once I give you a proper introduction.  Let me introduce her to you!  You might be able to help her or at least have a long talk possible since you both have similar powers!"

As Anna ran off out of the room to find Elsa JAck looked at Anna with some quiet understanding and raising sympathy.
Jack: "I did go see her Anna.  She couldn't see me.
You can."

Flying off to continue his investigation but now having more focus on the Princess he kept close to her as he reviewed what Anna spoke of.
Jack: "Anna 'almost' dying?  Becoming an ice statue because of Elsa's magic hitting her heart?! Saving her sister Elsa from being killed by a monster?  Plus I'm going to need more info and far more details to this story.  I need to know exactly everything that happened during that recent storm that even I couldn't control furthermore no spirit could enter into (it was like a invisible wall/door/gate).  

Anna.  If what I now think is true.  I don't think you know what I think you might be now.

Meanwhile when Anna left the room Jack was still in to meet with Elsa and she saw only Kristoff but not her sister.  Kristoff informed her that Elsa had to meet with some new officials from another land he couldn't recall the name of and Anna ran off to find her heading to the throne room where Elsa would be having the meeting.

Heading in Anna bust open the door and continued to run up to her sister Elsa.  Screaming out her name to have her attention Anna releasing a bit late that she was storming into possibly a meeting that could be very important and she wasn't acting as a proper princess should in official matters.  Going towards Elsa's left side but the ambassador's right Anna begins to move up to the men hoping to make a better impression and save face.  Anna bowed and apologized for the possible interruption and possible disrespect.  Anna then introduced herself to the new ambassador and held out her hand in friendship.  He gave no acknowledgment to Anna which befuddled the royal butler (and 2nd father figure for Anna and Elsa) Kai who was next to Elsa on her right side and the Queen herself.  Anna, Elsa, and Kai was a bit upset that Anna wasn't answered or acknowledged but also all assumed the ambassador might of been upset by the sudden and improper way Anna stormed into the meeting.
A bit embarrassed that she might of hurt her sister in important kingdom and international matters Anna walked away in shame and unseen by all by one spirit watching the events unfold the flowers in the pots above her head dropped and lost color matching her mood as she walked by.

After Anna walked away from the room and Kai closed the door Elsa was composing herself once again for official business.  The room got a bit cool as Elsa was upset that Anna got disrespected but also knew that Anna as much as she love her energy sometimes in matters of decorum and the kingdom's benefit her lack of tact and jumping into matters wasn't always the best and Elsa felt she had to handle some damage control.

Elsa: "I'm sorry if Princess Anna might of disrespect you ambassador.  She has so much life and energy in her that it can be hard to control."
The ambassador looked confused by Elsa's words.
Ambassador: "I'm sorry miss.  Princess Anna?  Who is Princess Anna?"
Elsa: "What?  She just came in and introduced herself to you just now.  She extend her hand but you didn't acknowledge her at all!"
As the ambassador looked confused and worried the two men who were his assistants and was standing one on each side begin to think over who Anna might be.   The left hand man for the ambassador recalled some information he studied for the meeting and quickly speaks to the ambassador in his left ear.
Ambassador: "Huh? oh!  Oh dear!"
Turning his attention again to Queen Elsa he looked embarrassed and bowed to her.
Ambassador: "No disrespect done or meant to be given Queen Elsa.  In fact I didn't know you had a sister till my assistant here just told me about her.  Did I met with her at some point and didn't know it?"
Elsa and Kai are left speechless by the words the man just spoke and seeing their befuddlement the ambassador spoke up to clear the air.
Ambassador: "If Princess Anna came up to me on my right side then I must inform you that I'm blind and deaf on that side due to an old injury."
Elsa: "Oh that probably explains it all."
A well of relief hit Elsa.
Elsa: "You could not see or hear her because of your injury.  All is well then.  I'll talk to my sister to make sure she knows what happened and that everything is fine."
As the mood pick up and business resumed as normal the right hand man who didn't know about Princess Anna at all wonders if she came up at some point as he also didn't see or hear her or if Elsa was tricking the ambassador to gain some sort of advantage.  Plus he was slightly spooked that the door suddenly busted open moments ago for no reason.
Above Jack who was watching everything from above felt secure in his assessment and who he was meant to find and present to the Guardians awaiting at the North Pole.  Anna was the new Spirit.





Order that they see Jack:

Sven is first of the group to see Jack from the start.

Olaf is second to see Jack.  Full of childlike wonder and faith in Anna allows him to see Jack when told about him.  He and Sven are also the first ones to discover Anna and Jacks secret when JAck and Anna was testing what she could do.

Kristoff third to see Jack:  At first doesn't see him due to be 'practical' however does believe in spirits, magic, and myths because he was raised and taught by trolls of such.  Ironically when Jack was informed about the trolls he thought Anna was pulling his leg as Jack thought Trolls didn't exist and was just myths and Kristoff while different from other humans (he speaks to his reindeer and even says what Sven is speaking supposedly) didn't believe he was raise by them.  Jack was very surprised meeting them and seeing rocks come to life.  Kristoff and Jack both are quick with sarcasm and fight like brothers yet form a brotherhood and bond very quickly.

Like Elsa Kristoff was not informed by Anna (and Jack due to Anna making him promise not to) that Anna actually died that fateful day she became a ice statue.  By official bishop kingdom rules the living can't marry the dead and "Death do you part" so Anna doesn't want anybody to know she isn't really human anymore but a spirit (technically she 'died' as a human yet she lives on as a Spirit).  Other complicated matters is the fact Kristoff lineage has some officials from other kingdoms not accepting the marriage of Anna and Kristoff as he is a commoner.  This is a 'trigger' for the Frozen cast and kingdom and Jack.  As a Spirit thus a different species now Anna and Kristoff can't have kids so unless Elsa bears kids the royal bloodline dies with Elsa.

Elsa is the last of the group to see Jack.  Elsa despite having magic is the least in believing myths and legends having a believing is seeing policy and a lady of science.  She trusts her sister but even when she wanted to believe she couldn't see Jack.  It took a bit of time and a event before Elsa finally did.  Like Elsa is a bit competitive and if challenged she plays to win and mixing or magic, science, and cunning mind she always beats Jack.  Anna 'ships' is trying to be the matchmaker between him and Elsa.  Of everybody that Anna doesn't want to discover that she actually died and stopped being a human on that day when she became an ice statue it is Elsa Anna dreads discovering this secret.  Anna knows Elsa will go into shock and blame herself and the current depression Elsa suffers with and carries with her is trouble enough (plus linked to her emotional state is her magic that can cause great suffering for Arendelle that Jack and Anna might not be able to stop if Elsa breaks).  Anna wants Elsa to always be happy and fears what will happen to Elsa if the truth comes out.

Anna plans to keep the fact that she is a spirit now a secret as long as possible to everybody and made Jack (and later on other who discover her secret such as Olaf).  Since she doesn't age she plans to become a expert at makeup so 15-20 years down the line she can apply and appear to be aging naturally keeping the secret till reaching a time where the secret could be to tough to keep and then plan her kingdom wide 'departure' in her own terms.  She also has to avoid anybody that didn't see her or know of her existence as they can't see, hear or touch her and that will raise many questions.  This has her hopes of traveling with her sister and meeting new people has now become a major gamble.




Despite being told to bring back the new spirit to the Guardians Jack can't as Anna doesn't want to leave Arendelle, her people that she feels a duty and love for, and most of all her sister who needs her very much and Anna needs Elsa as well.  Since Anna won't go Jack is forced to stay with Anna and stay in Arendelle while nature takes over his normal duties as much as it did before his existence.  He is told that he has to bring her to the Guardians but he counters that he was never given a time frame.   Jack becomes her 'mentor' despite not understanding or knowing what she can do as well learning as they both go along.  The practices and experiments in secret of her abilities and what they can discover (one of these practices Olaf and Sven accidentally see discovering Anna's secret) happens in the fields away from the kingdom.

When Anna and Jack go to have a secret talk with the ancient wise leader and magic user Grand Pabble of the trolls Grand Pabble mentions that Anna did break the curse but a second to late to save her human life.  She did save herself from a eternal worse then death ice statue fate where her soul wouldn't of even entered the afterlife if she didn't break the curse in time.  The troll tells the two that Elsa's powers are so powerful it can effect spirits as well and they can become permanent ice statues.  If the moon didn't choice Anna to become a special spirit like Jack Anna would of defrosted and be simply a dead human body in Elsa's arms vs standing upright and looking fine unknowingly to all at the time as now a powerful Spirit.
Anna reasons that it all was for the best as if she was a second faster her arm would of been cut off and the sword not stopped.  Thus Elsa would be dead while Anna as a unarmed human would lived in grief.  A second to late she would been a forever worse then death a spirit trapped as a Ice Statute forever despite the Moon's wishes and gift.
Pitch discovers this as well and how her powers kept all the Spirits back during that freaky winter storm that covered all of Arendelle during the middle of summer.  Pitch 'partners' with the one named Hans knowing he would be helpful in his scheme as Hans would want revenge and his presence would make a useful distraction against the group.  Pitch begins to scheme and hopes to use Elsa as a weapon against the Guardians (with such means such as using Anna's secret to trigger Elsa's great depression, fear, and self hatred).

Anna can no longer sleep as a Spirit but can eat food.  While the rest of the kingdom sleeps Jack and Anna sneaks out to preform their daily spirit experimentations and training.

Mother Goose: A lady who rides a giant flying goose and carries a book that contains all of the world stories from fact to fiction.  A Spirit and Guardian of Stories but operatives independently away from the other Guardians.  (she exists in the book series that inspired the Dreamworks movie)
